Clinic Accounts Are Here: One Shared Record for Your Whole Team
Published on August 11, 2026
Until now, VetDoze was built around a single vet and a single login. Everything you documented lived in your account, and a colleague who needed a case history had to come and ask you for it. That's no longer how it works. With clinic accounts, veterinary practice management on VetDoze moves from "my account" to "our clinic": one shared record, and a home screen that matches the job each person on your team actually does.
One clinic, one shared record
Every client, patient, medical record, veterinary consultation, recording, document, referral, and note template is now visible to everyone in the clinic. Nothing gets typed in twice, and no case is stuck behind one person's login because they happen to be off shift.
Shared doesn't mean anonymous, though. Every note, consult, and document keeps the name of the person who created it, so you always know who did what, even as the whole team works from the same record.
A home screen built around each role
Setting up a clinic takes one invite link per colleague, plus a role. Whoever creates the clinic becomes the owner; everyone else joins as a doctor, a receptionist, or a member of the lab.
- Reception opens straight into an intake screen: register the client and patient, start the consult, and hand it off.
- Laboratory lands on the clinic's document queue, with search across every file and a clear view of what's still pending.
- Doctors and the owner get the full clinical workspace: consults, the AI scribe, verified dosing, and records.
Your role decides what you see first, not what you're allowed to reach. Everyone shares the same underlying data. Running the scribe, finalizing a consult, or being assigned one is limited to doctors and the owner.
Handing off a consult to a named vet
Any team member can open a consult and mark it for a specific vet. It shows up as "For Dr. X" directly on that vet's screen, so the handoff is part of the record rather than a hallway conversation. Paired with "document now, assign later," reception can start capturing a veterinary consultation before the patient file even exists, and attach everything once it does.
What the clinic owner sees
Owners get a 30-day activity view: consults, new clients, new patients, and documents, broken down per team member and compared against the previous 30 days. It's meant as a read on how the clinic is running, not a leaderboard.
Joining, leaving, and keeping your own work
Already built up patients and records under your own account before joining a clinic? You can move them into the clinic in a single step. And if you ever leave a clinic, or are removed from one, the clinic keeps its records, and you keep access to everything you personally authored.
Seats and billing
A clinic runs on seats, from 2 up to 20, and every member uses one seat, including reception and lab staff. Seats are priced at $79 per seat per month, or $790 per seat per year, which works out to two months free on an annual plan.
Consults are pooled across the whole team rather than metered per person, and dose or fluid calculations never draw down a seat's usage. As long as the clinic subscription is active, it covers every member, regardless of what their individual trial status says.
Also shipped since the last update
- Consults before you know the patient. Start recording with just a species and a weight, then attach the consult to an existing patient or a new client whenever you're ready. Drafts you haven't finished sit right on the dashboard and open back up where you left off.
- A more complete SOAP note. The note now separates three things clearly: what was actually said, what was explicitly called normal (written out as a full normal finding for that species), and what was never brought up at all, which stays marked as not mentioned. Silence never gets written up as normal, and vitals are never invented.
- A sample consult on day one. New accounts now open on a worked example, so you can see a finished note, verified doses, and a filed record before you record a single real consult.
- Persian, end to end. Sign-in, sign-up, and password screens are now available in Persian, your language and theme follow your account rather than your browser, and right-to-left layout is handled throughout the product.
- The dosing disclaimer travels with the dose. Every screen, PDF export, and shared referral link that shows a calculated dose now carries the same clinical wording.
- Smaller fixes. Clearer weight history charts, a phone field that validates as you type, and steadier layout on small screens.
